R422D, also known as ISCEON® MO29, is an HFC blend designed to be a simple drop-in retrofit replacement for R22 in many refrigeration and air conditioning applications, including low and medium temperature direct expansion (DX) refrigeration applications, commercial supermarket systems, stationary DX air conditioning applications and DX water chillers. R422D contains a small amount of hydrocarbon to help ensure oil return in systems containing MO or AB lubricants.
